Hastings Community Hub

This project was designed for Mornington Peninsula Shire and entailed the redevelopment and expansion of the existing community building.

The brief was to design a multi-purpose and flexible facility which could cater to the needs of a variety of community groups, activities and hours of operation.

The design included activities and meeting rooms, computer training room, music and sound studio, art space, community fitness, basketball court, men’s shed, kitchen and administrative support services.

The brief was to also generate a built form that was striking and eye catching to attract a variety of uses and community groups.
