Joel is a Project Architect for Baade Harbour Australia (BHA) Pty Ltd.
Joel has been carrying out Contract Administration for BHA over the last 5 years. He was responsible for managing the temporary accommodation project for Charlton Hospital following the 2011 floods.
Joel has also provided Contract Administration services for a number of recent BHA projects and has dealt with site issues, assessing variations and payment claims as well as issuing instructions. He has provided CA assistance on several large health projects such as Sunbury Day Hospital and Charlton Hospital as well as also running Contract Administration services for a variety of CFA Stations and minor Health projects ranging from $250,000 to $1.5 million.
He was employed particularly for his skills in CAD and Documentation including architectural and construction details. He has a ‘hands on’ approach and ability to extensively research the latest construction techniques to ensure our projects incorporate the most practical and cost effective construction details for our innovative design proposals. Joel is often complimented by our Clients for his ability to listen and resolve the concerns/issues they raise during the documentation phase.
Joel is also responsible for the co-ordinating and checking our sub consultants drawings to ensure they accurately reflect the Architectural drawings and design intent, together with the Client’s Brief.
Since joining BHA in 2007, Joel has worked on a variety of projects including:
- Health (Acute, Aged Care, Community and Integrated Rural)
- Emergency Services (Ambulance, CFA, Police and SES)
- Commercial (Offices, Shopping Centres, Hotels and Bars)
Joel works closely with both the Project Design Architect and the Client when undertaking CAD work, preparing Contract Documentation and Contract Specifications.
